Ruth teaches and supports a number of statistics courses for the Department of Sociology at the University of Victoria. Ruth is tireless in her support for undergraduate and graduate students struggling with “stats anxiety”. She is often seen in her office, taking as much time as needed, to help students prepare for exams or complete course assignments. When students are asked about stats, their reply usually starts with, “If it wasn’t for Ruth…”
