Dr. Milne has built a career connecting with local communities and advocating for and with Indigenous students, students from low-income families, and rural and racialized communities. Dr. Milne’s approach is always to listen to other’s needs and work collaboratively with them on projects that respond to those needs. A recent SSHRC partnership grant entitled, “Advancing Educational Equity in Alberta Classrooms, Schools, and Structures” confirms Dr. Milne’s passion for “Committing Sociology”.
