Nominate Someone Special

*Equity deserving groups are communities that encounter barriers to equal access, opportunities and resources due to structural disadvantage and discrimination. This marginalization is created by historic, social, political, and environmental barriers based on age, ongoing colonialism, ethnicity, disability, economic status, gender, nationality, race, sexual orientation and transgender status, etc.

This information will only be shared with the adjudication committee who will be required to monitor and report on diversity among the nominees and the equitable process used for adjudication in compliance with the Canadian Sociological Association’s Operating Standards and Principles on Equity policy.  

The data collected will then be archived in aggregate form for ongoing review of the Awards Program nomination and adjudication processes as per the Canadian Sociological Association’s Privacy Policy.
