Catherine Corrigall-Brown, Mark Stoddart (current and former Presidents of the Canadian Sociological Association), and Bruce Ravelli have had years of first-hand experience working with Sherry and seeing her extraordinary contributions to the Association.
As the Association’s Executive Director, Sherry is responsible for coordinating and supporting virtually every aspect of the CSA’s work, including our committees, academic journals, conferences, webinars, student groups, and research clusters—to name just a few. Simply put, there is no part of the CSA that Sherry does not coordinate, support, and make better.
At every turn, Sherry champions transparency, fairness, and inclusivity and represents our Association with commitment and dedication. In our work with Sherry, we have enjoyed her wonderful sense of humour, her generosity, and her care for those around her.
